Glassware

So just surfing around looking at things on Overstock I found these amazing pieces for our cabinet/ beverage center.  Which will look something like this when it's finished, minus the lighting in the cabinet.  We will have black granite counter tops and a mini fridge in the center of the bottom cabinets.

I wanted something pink but not too much that men wouldn't drink out of them.
What is it with men and pink anyway... that's a whole post all in itself.
Anyway, here is what I purchased...

We will have a stemware holder for the wine glasses and I will put the other glasses above it.  They came the other day and I wanted to start using them.  But I didn't.  They are actually a little more purple than they appear in these pictures too.  But just way too cute!
So I will stare at them in their boxes until September when the house is finished.

The Master Bedroom

So we are building a new home and I have begun the hunt for decorations.  I am looking to do blue and brown in the master bedroom.  I found this online... what do you think?

I am totally in love with it! I think I might paint the walls blue since most of the house will be Desert Castle.  What do you think?

I saw this bedroom on HGTV and might use it as inspiration in my new bedroom. The chandelier is a bit too fru fru for the the man, but I LOVE the color.

Teddy's Party

Well, it has taken me 3 times to upload pictures from Teddy's Party, but I think this time, it will actually work!
Here we are with the Thing 1 Thing 2 shirts I made.  We made the crown out of felt and the shirt I purchased at Cute As a Button on Etsy.
Here are the wine corks I purchased at M6Designs.  I love them!
Green Eggs of course!  I made little Tent cards out of card stock with the names of the items.  I used Michelle's  So Wonderful, So Marvelous menu from her son's birthday.
The yummy candy bar with my fabulous dum dum trees.
The centerpieces were inspired from Newly Nesting.  We used different vases on each table with a Dr. Seuss book to mix it up a bit.
The Who-cakes were made by a friend from high school, Piece of Cake.  They were simply amazing, as you can see since one cupcake was already missing!
The birthday boy enjoying his Cat in the Hat cake!
Grandma took him for a walk as we cleaned up.  He sure had a great time!
Hope you enjoyed the recap!
