Valentine's Treats

So I am a bit behind on my blogging, as usual, but I thought I would share the Valentine's treats I sent in for my son's Valentine's party.  I have seen many people do these for V-Day and jumped on the bandwagon.

Thank goodness I save crayons when we go to restaurants.  My son doesn't color at home yet (he's only 21 months) but he loves to color at dinner when we go out.  My hubby wondered what I was planning to do with these crayons, yet I knew all along.

All the crayons minus the red and yellow ones.
In the heart tin that I finally found at Pat Catans
Popped them in the oven at 200 for 20 minutes
Let them cool then popped them out of the tin.
Bad mommy!  I know.  Had I realized his party was Friday and not Monday I would have put a little more effort into the card portion of the treat.  Well, I guess something is better than nothing and it wasn't candy!

Hope you enjoyed your Valentine's Day!

Valentine's Day iPod Treats

I finished my son's Valentine's for his teachers, his babysitter, and a few of my
work friends that always call me "that mom."  LOL!
I saw the idea for these Valentine iPods at Tara Frey and I fell in love with them.
I used rainbow yarn as the headphone cord and Hershey kisses as the ear buds
b/c that's what I had on hand.

The back says "You Rock" and my son's name.

I just love them.  Can't wait to give them, er,  I mean have my son,
give them out on Valentine's day.
XOXO

Valentine's Treats!

Well it's the Friday before Valentine's Day. Yes, I made Valentine's for my son's class, mind you my son is 8 months old. I found a cute onesie at Babies R Us and made the cutest goodie bags for the kids. Luckily I stumbled across Strawberry Mum Mum's, they are for Toddler's but they are just round instead of long, so they are fine for infants. So the mum mums along with Monkey Valentine's in a Monkey Bag, and we were good to go!
Have a great day with your loved ones!
